Akter Shahanaj

Akter is a dedicated and passionate private tax accountant with over seven years’ experience, including more than five years working at a respected accountancy firm in East London. She thrives on challenges and is always keen to enhance her expertise through continuous learning. Known for her attention to detail and client-focused approach, she brings both expertise and enthusiasm to her work.

Outside of her accounting career, Akter expresses her creativity in the kitchen, treating each dish as an expression of care and imagination. She reads voraciously, nurtures her indoor garden with affection, and weaves emotions into Bengali poetry. Her debut poetry collection was published in 2020, and she is currently preparing two further poetry books, alongside short stories and original recipes, for publication.

In her free time, Akter enjoys reconnecting with nature through mindful walks, cycling, practising yoga, and playing badminton.
