Team Updates September 19
18th September, 2019
It’s been another busy period of recruitment at Haggards Crowther as we continue to grow and expand our team to meet rising demand for our services whilst maintaining our focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome the following new (and returning) faces:
Tina Li joined us this month as a Client Manager and will be working with new businesses and smaller corporate clients. Tina will be mainly working remotely but she will be popping in every now and again, so I hope you have the chance to introduce yourselves and make her welcome.
Jacklin French returns on 1st October 2019 following her maternity leave. Jacklin will be dividing her time between home and the office, working remotely so she can be close to Jessica, the new addition to her family, whilst keeping in touch with clients and office life.
James Yates joined us on Monday 16th September. He will be taking up the role of Assistant Client Manager in Dorota’s team, I know that you’ll join us in giving him a warm welcome.
Hamid Mahmood joins us on Tuesday, 1st October as a Manager in the corporate team. Working closely with Chris, Hamid will be helping with the running of the Corporate team as well as handling his own client portfolio. We are very excited about the energy and drive he will bring to the team.
Alexandra Lupano will be joining us on 14th October, as a Client Manager. She will be slotting in to support Hamid with this client portfolio. We look forward to welcoming her next month.
We have a couple of additional appointments which we are looking to finalise in the coming weeks but will make you aware as soon as we have confirmed them. In the meantime, please say hello to any new faces you may see around the office or speak to on the phone.
Sadly, as we welcome some new faces we must also say goodbye to some members of the team that will be heading off to new pastures.
Donald Ah Choon left the practice earlier in September. We want to thank him for his incredible work ethic and unique sense of humour.
Ayaz Choudhery will be leaving us on 20th September. Ayaz has been with us for 3 and half years and has proved a real asset to the practice and will be greatly missed.
We wish Donald and Ayaz all the very best for their future endeavours.
Andrew founded Haggards Crowther with his brother in 2004 and took over as Managing Partner in May 2023. He has always been closely involved in client work, in particular providing high level strategic tax and structuring advice, business advice and supporting the technical and compliance teams.
As Managing Partner, he has focussed on growing the business and ensuring the firm upholds its core values of Quality of Service, Innovation, Collaboration and Integrity. These remain central to all that we do both internally and in serving our clients.
A Fulham resident for over 30 years Andrew is closely connected with the local business community and supporting many of them on their journeys. He is especially linked with fellow start-up entrepreneurs advising them on their growth strategies and optimal structures.
A passionate Fulham FC supporter, along with his two sons, Andrew rarely misses a game. He plays and coaches volleyball, something he has done since university in Edinburgh, and which offsets another of his passions: exploring the vast and diverse range of food that London’s restaurants have to offer.
He has a keen interest in many conservation projects especially in protecting endangered species of birds and actively supports the Mabula Project in South Africa. This charity supports the Southern Ground Hornbill, a charismatic species of cultural and ecological importance threatened by loss of habitat through the encroaching development of the savannah.
